The business is managed by Bruce Rowan with support as required from Tony Scutt and John Watkins.
Bruce Rowan closely monitors the company’s investments and seeks new opportunities. John Watkins, in his role as finance director and company secretary, takes full responsibility for all finance and support matters, albeit with the assistance of a professional accountant. Tony Scutt is non-executive.
The board does not have any sub committees but deals collectively with all governance matters including remuneration. It considers that this is an appropriate status for a company of its size and resources. The Board meets quarterly and at other times as may be necessary.
The directors provide their time on a part time basis; each has other business interests.
Tony Scutt and John Watkins are non-executive directors of other companies including eight companies in which Starvest has invested.
